What are the advantages of version MPC-3.4.2.13.tkglssh-update and Midi Plugin dev source infos?

before I do it and maybe kill something, I'd like to know if there are any benefits to migrating?

Is it the addition of audio tracks or plugins or more compatibility between MPC and Force?
Are there more settings?
I've heard you say that this version is more resource-hungry?
Is there any real advantage over the current version (apart from the limitation of tracks)
Could you please confirm some obscure points before migrating?

ps :I would like to develop a midi plug-in that would allow me to transpose certain tracks attached to this plug-in in real time?
What would you recommend as a source of information to try this out?
