Fetching Data In React: Readers with no CodeSandbox account cannot make changes to CodeSandbox repo

For the Fetching Data in React lesson, there is a CodeSandbox where there is a recommendation to make changes to the repo (comment out active parts and uncomment out commented part). However, attempting to do so would result in CodeSandbox throwing a popup not allowing the user to save changes unless they have an account.

However, in the same lesson, there is an assignment resource which also has CodeSandbox examples where the user can save changes even without an account.

This makes me think this is a configuration issue. This is an issue because the instructions ask the reader to make changes to the CodeSandbox example but the reader cannot do that.

Would like to work on this issue if possible but this seems more like an permissions issue for the owner of the CodeSandbox repo.

It's possible. I did notice that it limits how many sandboxes you can save if you don't have an account. Does this happen to every sandbox you try to change? Visiting the site itself i didn't get the pop-up until i ran out of free sandboxes when visiting the site. I'm curious if it says that you have reached the maximum amount of sandboxes.

It was something I considered but I visited the Odin page sandbox before I used the resource's sandbox so even if having no more sandboxes was the issue, it doesn't make sense that I ran out of sandboxes for the Odin page but not the other page

I noticed that the ones where you're prohibited from saving is navigating to an editor:

While the ones where you can save navigate you to a sandbox

In this case, 1 is an sandbox (can save without an account) while 2 and 3 are both editors. And the Fetching Data in React CodeSandbox is also an editor.

Note that gui in first two screenshots have different looks than the latter two. The first screenshot has an "Open Editor" button in the top right while the third screenshot has "Open Sandbox" button in the bottom right corner.
Also the tops of the second and fourth screenshots are different.
