Switching TesLight on/off using the original footwell lights or the light sensor and simultaneously automatic dimming using the light sensor
Since the original footwell lights only dim according to the display brightness and not the modus (light/dark theme) automatic dimming using the original footwell lights could lead to strange behavior of the dimming.
A open door sets the original footwell lights to max brightness and therefore also TesLight to the max setting.
SR models without the footwell lights could use the center console light which does not dim at all.
Note: Preconditioning of the cabin/Camp modus would turn TesLight on using the center console light!
A combined modus would give us the best of both modi:
- 100% reliable on/off switching using signals from the car
- automatic (luxurious) dimming according to the ambient brightness outside
Also it would be nice to have automatic dimming while using the motion sensor as the on/off switch of TesLight.
