I find that the printhead often obscures the actual print in the final snapshot used to show the finished print in the "Print History List", making it hard to distinguish what you actually printed, especially for smaller prints.
Would be great if there could be an option to move the head out of the way before taking that final snapshot. Since this only involves the final snapshot, the extra time required to move the head is trivial.
Position of course would be camera dependent so would need option say to move head to:
- X-axis: Left/Middle/Right (or no movement)
- Y-axis: Front/Middle/Back (or no movement)
- Z-axis: Move to top (or no movement)
A further nice-to-have option would be for the timelapse also to move the head out of the way before taking a snapshot - with the similar options as above (this is similar to what the various Octoprint timelapse modules do).
As a bonus, it might improve Spaghetti detection if the head is not blocking the camera.
As a negative, it could extend print time so you may want to only see the final snapshot vs. the entire timelapse video.
