Description
At this time, The Spaghetti Detective does not detect anything other than spaghetti. However, there is no reason why that couldn't change in the future, and if it does, imagine if the training images for new types of incidents had already been logged!
I propose that the options on the feedback wizard be changed to add a third option with a meaning of "I don't see spaghetti, no, but I do see something else of note." This could then present a dropdown list with a few predefined failure types such as:
- No filament being extruded
- Model not attached to bed
- Foreign object
- Spaghetti not on bed i.e. fallen under bed from previous print (this could be a fire precaution)
- Smoke
- Animal i.e. cat's paw batting at printer
- Power loss i.e. fuse blown on printer
- Other (for triage by TSD staff to decide if worth creating new category for)
When a large enough number of images of a single incident type have been submitted, the TSD team may decide to use these images to train the detective to detect this sort of incident in future.
This is not a request to detect different types of incidents, only to begin collecting data for them so that the training images are there should the TSD team decide to detect them in the future.
