Anime downloader new version is not working #20

Its showing EADDRINUSE address already in use :: 6969 |

2 possibility you running downloader 2 times or there is another app using same port |

I think there is some issue with PORT number, I tried to change the port in js file and rebuild it. But Its no use, though the error is not showing. |

The error seems to be a port issue. I think you need to build the app locally but change the port to something like 6059 or another unused port in src/gui.js line 57. 🤔 Maybe I’ll add a feature that automatically detects if a port is in use and switches to a free one. 🤔 |

It would be great if you add that feature.
I actually changed the port and it was working, but I don't know why but
for some reason it was lagging a lot !

But I have another concern, I don't want you to look upon it so deeply, but
just saying, that there are alot of sites that doesn't work on my institute
network, and also the animedownloader gui, anyway to bypass it ? I have
tried using vpn but it's not use.

try different vpn and try to visit the website directly like hianime.to if you can't access site with vpn there is high chance your institute is blocking all traffic 😞 |
