I don't think this shader is what's responsible for that effect, however there's an ingame option l3d-char-lighting which does what you want, at least I think so. You can try this build and enable it in the ini file: |

@ThirteenAG can this be done for Blacklist? What I've noticed is, when Sam's in darkness, the character lighting is disabled, and it gets enabled when he's under light. The issue is that the transition has a delay and Sam retains the glow for a second or two when he goes into darkness. Is it possible to disable character lighting altogether for Blacklist as well? The game looks way better without the ugly black and white filter in shadows though characters have ugly fake lighting applied to them. There's a mod which includes the ability to disable this effect though I can't get this to work for me. I took it upon myself and found the shader which disables the effect but of course after performing all the necessary steps the shader doesn't get disabled and or I get a black screen on launch. I feel like it may be getting overridden by the fusion mod or the toggle hud/last known position silhouette which uses the Shaderoverride folder and possibly a conflicting d3d9.dll (which the fusion mod suprisingly doesn't seem to need in order to work) .
ThirteenAG, do you think you would be able to add the option to toggle fake character lighting to your fusion mod? It is placed in Shaderoverride>vertexshaders folder and the shader is labeled VertexShader_100_CRC32_BA791BEB.txt
Thanks!
