PROBLEM WITH FUSION MOD GTA 3 DEFINITIVE EDITION

I’m trying to use that mod in the game, but every time I open it, a window appears saying ‘Social Club is connecting.’ If I click OK, nothing happens; if I click Cancel, the game closes. So, basically I'm unable to go forward :(
