- Golf Battles – Grab your clubs and be ready to duke it out with other communities over precious collectibles and resources! Golf is an exciting element of the SocUp story. Starting in the stone age and working through eras, golfers are the warrior class of their community. Leaderboards, challenges, and tips are all features within GolfUp, a core partner of SocUp. Golfers will be organized by captains, typically local club golf pros, and are charged with strategy whether on the offensive or defensive. Golfers will be able to purchase and/or earn collectibles that enhance their stats and firepower. Handicap is a part of it, to an extent, as all golfers are called upon to serve their community. The course calls and glory awaits!
- Puppy Royalty – Everywhere finds dogs paw-some and dogs love us back! What better way to represent that unique friendship than crowning your community’s own pupper nobles. Puppy Royalty is a unique feature within the game that allows for authority and diplomacy to be represented through dog breeding and dog play dates. The noble dogs are able to breed and can have up to two litters. In the future, each community will have their own dog grounds where owners from all over can bring their dogs to play with the royal family and hold court. Also, each dog serves their royal family by being a part of the game to earn bark power and boops that enhance their community’s progress. Your Future Royal awaits and they eagerly seek to lead even when times get ruff!
- Restaurant Farming – Farming was the start of settled societies in history, as humans gave up their nomadic lifestyle. The game represents this with farming aspects with a unique twist. Imagine farming tacos or pizza instead of wheat or animals. Every partner restaurant is able to harvest diverse items based on user participation. Food diversity leads to higher bonuses within the game and aids in developing other key aspects of the community. Users can rate the items with higher scores leading to more yields. Head to your favorite spots, enjoy great food, and boost your community by dining out.
- Hike Mining – Hiking, skiing, and the outdoors is a popular pastime and SocUp enriches this by offering the ability to passively collect resources that benefit your community. By using geofencing, users will be able to enter parks and collect resources based on their time there. Iron, wood, stone, etc are all available to be harvested and transported into the town center for construction purposes. The best part is it’s all passive because SocUp wants users to be in the moment and not on their phones. After an allotted time has passed, the user will be notified of their haul.
- Civic Engagement – There’s often a disconnect between government and citizens based on lack of communication; SocUp bridges the gap. Through civic engagement, players can benefit their community by participating in events, volunteer work, and interacting with their local politicians. In the platform, public servants will have the ability to post their own videos and content concerning policy and funding for their community. Additionally, during elections users will be able to see content that highlights their politician’s campaign initiatives and then be able to select their pre-ballot. This allows users to have a cheat sheet of sorts at the ballot and be informed on all candidates, not just party affiliation or federal level.
- Model Muses – Modeling is a huge industry and SocUp seeks to benefit the models by adding a gamification element. Models will be able to earn value in select categories such as spark which is necessary for community development. The muse aspect allows models to select which categories they want to upgrade for their community whether it’s arts, sport, music, pets, etc. Additionally, models can both advertise fashion that is sold with an accompanying NFT authentication and directly communicate with fans as well. Finally, modeling leagues and competitions allow models to group together to benefit their team or community.
- Music Magic – Musicians are like magicians in the game, creating magical experiences both near to and far from their community. Communities can choose to patronage musicians as well allowing for less pressure to survive and more time to create. Song plays on streaming, full shows, and merch sales allow musicians to level up which further benefits their community. Musicians also earn category values such as vibes that can be used to further the development of their community within the game.
- Logistics and Construction – Every community needs logistics and the ability to construct buildings. Partner companies in these industries will be able to represent communities by providing digital services. For example, a large resource haul will need to be send to the community center and a logistics company will speed up the process with each number of employees they have in the game. In construction, partner companies will be able to brand the buildings and the speed of completion is based on employees playing the game.
- Individual Story – Community is a large part of the game, but each user has their own story to tell. Quests tell these stories and no one user will have the same story. Whether we “Roll for Quest” or assign them from the company, users will be able to select and choose how they want to play the game. Each community will have a game master that helps direct the way the quests available. Landmarks, Tours, Badges, Titles, and more can all be earned by each individual player.
- NFT Collectibles – At the core of the game are collectibles designed on blockchain to show unique ownership. These collectibles hold a monetary value and can be traded, upgraded, combined, damaged, enhanced, beautified, and more! Collectibles are items such as a golf club, dog leash, fork to eat, basket to carry, and so on. The majority will be AI Art with human creations offering more unique value with their rarity.
