Support global file search

im used to search globally using search bar on many filebrowsers, i wonder why it does not work in chonky, or i might missed an attribute to trigger it to make it global?

Hello, apologies for the late reply, I had a mini-vacation.

The reason file search only searches the "directory" right now is because Chonky doesn't have access to the global file list.

You are raising a very good point though - I agree that global file search is an important feature. At the moment, Chonky doesn't support this. What you can do is disable Chonky's native file search, and implement your own search bar as an external component.

I'm working on some new features for 2.x right now, and I'll take your suggestion into account.
