make it easier to update docs from the website

like a link at the bottom of the project page 'update your documentation' that takes you to the page in the repo that you have to edit.
if that can also explain what to do, then great. otherwise maybe 2 links 'update this documentation' with update going to the gdoc or page on the www, and documentation going to the docs.
