I used other "quick return" libraries before, but your is the best for me.

1. Can I add actionbar as header to QuickReturnContainer?
2. Can I determine the state of header(footer) view or set some listener for it?: isShowing or isHiding, isShowed, isHided.

Never tested that. Unfortunately, I can't see it working nicely without some tweaking.
