I upload close to 40 GB per day whenever I have Tribler ON. How much overhead can I expect if I am using only 1 hop? Will overhead be close to what I upload, 40 GB approx.? Or will it be more than than? Also, during this time I am RELAY Node for others - will it add to my overhead data? I am not looking fir an exact answer but an approximation will be appreciated as I have changed ISPs and it has a limited metered plan only for now. Therefore, I need to be mindful of my usage of Tribler. |

It's been a few years since we did the measurements. I believe anonymization roughly multiplies your bandwidth use by two (@egbertbouman please correct me if I'm wrong). So, say, 20 GBs out of your 40 GBs are torrent data: the rest is anonymization overhead. Regarding relaying: correct, this also adds to your data use. |
