Build 181, Ubuntu performance issues - downloading at a complete stop!

Tribler 181, in Ubuntu I am experiencing really poor download speeds, so bad that torrents are at a complete stop. Of the torrent pieces that are being downloaded, uploading seems to be okay.

I had a group of torrents that I have been trying to download since Friday and they have still not finished. I thought the issue may have been related to one of these issues: #8828 or #8798

I installed build 181 on Windows and decided to compare exit nodes, and they seemed to be okay, connecting to both Datacamp VPN and Cheese and Onion exits just fine.

I imported the same group of torrents that were struggling to download in Ubuntu and within about 10-15 minutes most of them were downloaded.

I restarted Tribler on Ubuntu, still same performance, reimported with same performance - remaining torrent pieces not downloading.

I did notice the Tribler on Ubuntu was uploading pieces to an IP from Datacamp VPN, which I assume will be my Tribler running on Windows.

I have Tribler running on Windows and Ubuntu from the same ISP (and IP address) with the same group of torrents. Same number of Tribler hops. Completed on Windows and partially completed on Ubuntu. Both have the same three Cheese and Onion exits. The Tribler on Ubuntu is stuck, can't or refuses to complete downloading of the remaining torrents.

FYI uploading from Ubuntu I have frequently been seeing >2MB/s, so I believe the issue is downloading.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
