The noBackup=true option is documented to disable automatic backups in Trilium, including daily and weekly backups, when set in config.ini or via the TRILIUM_GENERAL_NOBACKUP environment variable. Environment variables take precedence over config file settings, so if TRILIUM_GENERAL_NOBACKUP is set to false or unset, it could override your config file. Also, Trilium must be restarted after changing config options for them to take effect. There are no known bugs or recent changes affecting this feature in the latest version, and no similar reports in support threads. If backups are still being created, double-check for environment variable overrides and ensure the server was restarted after updating the config file.
