Description

Description: I recently updated the UI, and I encountered two main issues that are significantly affecting my workflow. I would appreciate it if you could look into them.

  1. Disappearance of the Top Navigation/Toolbar for Custom Scripts Previously, there was a navigation bar (toolbar) above the note where I had integrated several custom functionalities using scripts, such as:

Formatting notes

Converting video links

Converting formulas

Image

After the update, this bar seems to have disappeared, and I cannot find where these custom buttons have been moved to. My Request: I understand if the visual layout needs to be updated or moved, but the functionality must be preserved. I need a way to access or migrate my custom script buttons in the new UI. Could you please clarify where these are located now, or add support for them if they were removed?

  1. Right Sidebar (Table of Contents/Info) Visibility I noticed that the Right Sidebar can no longer be hidden or collapsed. My Request: It is quite inconvenient to have it always open, especially on smaller screens. Please bring back the option to toggle/hide the Right Sidebar to maximize the note-taking space.

Thank you for your hard work on Trilium!
