Changing the note icon does not change the icon in the tab

Description

When changing the note icon by clicking the icon in the editor, it does change the icon there and in the notes tree but it does not change the icon in that notes tab.

On a side note, I noticed, that I am able to change icon of the settings pages too. Is that intended?

Thanks for the detailed report! This looks like a confirmed bug in the code.

The issue is in tab_row.ts - the entitiesReloadedEvent handler only monitors these attributes:

• "workspace"
• "workspaceIconClass"
• "workspaceTabBackgroundColor"

The "iconClass" attribute is not in this list, so tab icons don't update when a note's icon changes. However, the updateTab method does call note.getIcon() to render the icon - it's just never triggered when iconClass changes.

Workaround: Close and reopen the tab, or reload the app.

Regarding the settings page icons - that's actually expected behavior. The #readOnly attribute only protects note content, not titles, attributes, or icons.
