Storage increase from Trimple of Doom is not being applied when the map is completed in offline mode

Whenever I complete the map Trimple of Doom on offline mode, or while opening the browser tab where the game is after being out of focus for some time, the reward for completing the map is not being applied. The message that appears when completing the map is shown on the log, however.
