Is that part of the API officially deprecated or just reconfigured?

not working, I think not getting the points...
EDIT: sorry, I have no idea about node.js, but what I expected is that deploying the app something would happen, and it's just a background map... I discovered that http://localhost:3000/first generates random strings and a key, but we users are supposed to change the code to make it work or it simply does not work??
