It may be worth capturing some of these general lessons in an AGENTS.md file in the Turing.jl repo.

There is a substantial body of Turing.jl- and Julia-specific knowledge that is currently passed down informally through onboarding and review comments. Writing down the most reusable parts would make future reviews easier and help new contributors converge on project conventions faster.

It's an good inspiration. Roughly looking at it, those are designed for specific stuff around there projects.

In Turing projects -- we might benefit from these AGENTS.md files:

• Project specific technical detailing like this one Penny added in Turing.jl: https://github.com/TuringLang/Turing.jl/blob/main/CLAUDE.md
• Julia best practices like what to use and what to not in most cases. Design choices and all.
