Internal server error [500]

Testing master branch on sandbox, the following error happens:

Unable to login: Internal server error [500]

This happened 1/8 times I tested, on Chrome specifically. Following is the scenario:
The user has done one HIT earlier, completed successfully. Then they attempt to accept a new HIT and this error pops up on the HIT preview page. Refreshing doesn't help. Logged out of mturk and logged back in and it was resolved! Any idea why this is happening?

The same error (on the surface) used to be a common one right when we went large scale with earlier versions. This time there is definitely no HIT expiration happening.

No, It is the master branch as I had mentioned.

If there is a 500 internal server error, then the server logs should be printing the error. Could you paste that here and we'll figure out what it is?
