Turning on another monitor makes that monitor have the light, but not mine

Steps to reproduce

1. Turn on 2nd monitor
2. First monitor loses light effect and second one gets it

Details

When I open my other monitor, the effect of the night light goes there, and my current monitor goes back to being super bright with no light. When I turn off my other monitor, the only remaining monitor I am using will get the proper light effect I am expecting

I have the same problem.

Same problem here. Since I'm also using a KVM switch to switch between two computers, the monitors are essentially disconnected and upon reconnection, LightBulb is often not enabled. Toggle it inside the app's own settings renables it and ofcourse restarting the app does the same.

Would really love if this could be adressed - can we provide a log that may be helpful or something?

I don't really have a way to test it since I only have one monitor at the moment, but LightBulb should already detect changes to Windows display settings (including addition/removal of monitors).

Does the behavior change at all if you disconnect/connect a different monitor? Are your monitors connected via DisplayPort or something else?

@Tyrrrz Could it be because I'm running my monitors (via DisplayPort) thru a KVM?

@kocane I don't know for sure, you could try connecting it directly just to test. Unfortunately, even if it does, I'm not sure what I can do about it if Windows does not trigger an event to signal that display settings have changed.
