Current state
/lessons has no persistent side navigation — all browsing happens through the top filter panel (LessonFilter.tsx) or full-text search.
Ask (2026-08-04 WG meeting)
Add a sidebar for browsing lessons by category. Explicitly not meant to be an exhaustive dump of every facet value — closer to a curated set of entry points (pathway-like) than a full facet listing, so people who want a guided way in have one, while people who want the filters can still use them.
Open question
Which values populate the sidebar — a curated subset of Topic, or a new curated list? Needs a decision before implementation.
