Can we document what distro they work under?

As far as I can tell the only reliable installation method is compiling from source

fish> sudo apt-get install ./libbap-dev_2.6.0.deb  ./bap_2.6.0.deb ./libbap_2.6.0.deb
[sudo] password for am:
