MCC connect commands page to backend #617
Description
Background
Currently, we have a frontend and some endpoints for commands, but we have not connected them yet. This will be the first PR that actually implements any endpoints and will serve as a template for future PRs. Apologies in advance for the nitpicks during the reviews.
