Custom cooling settings for overhangs

Overhangs can get very blooby or saggy at some point.

Like the cooling for Bridges, a custom cooling setting for overhangs over a set angle would be advantageous.

Custom overhang temperatures? but this would probably be to slow to react.

I wrote a post-processor that does that for bridges and yes, it is slow to react (and was quite annoying).
Layer cooling fans don't react bang-bang either.
The @smartavionics branch does have this feature "Overhanging Wall Fan Speed" in the Experimental section.

The Cura post processor Advanced Cooling Fan Control can be configured "By Feature" and the "Support-Interface" can have it's own fan setting. That's kind of working from the bottom, but without the model available (in post process), it isn't possible to anticipate when a wall is an "overhanging wall".
When the print speed is high and the overhanging wall is short, the fan doesn't have a chance to spin up to speed before it shuts off again.

YES PLEASE! It is frsutrating that out of all of the slicers out there, none have a complete set of advance cooling fan controls (S3D does have decent fan controls though). It seems that the majority of slicers cater to PLA & PETG users where the fan is mostly on. For us Advance Material users (ABS, NYLON, PPS Etc.), we prefer very limited fan cooling and only in very specific areas. Bridging and Overhang areas are the more important areas. As this post suggest, we need fan control on overhangs areas. One cool feature about S3D, it has the option to blip the fan to 100% half a second before to get the fan moving. Very nice feature to have with short over hangs.

The "Post Process Scripts" plug in does not have the option for overhangs.

its about to be 2026 and the cooling fan still lacks more option, come on guys!... i know, i know... its a FREE open source app... I appreciate the other cool features, but we need to look into the cooling a little more for the next update please.
