5.11.0 & 5.10 fail at slicing, whereas 5.9.1 excels

Reproduction steps

Model 1

1. download https://www.printables.com/model/242718-toy-microphone-multiple-designs/files - specifically the Toy_Microphone_Easy file
2. load to cura (5.9, 5.10, and 5.11)
3. "fix model normals" (meshmixer plugin)
4. set singular extruder (AA 0.4mm) to either "normal visual 0.15" or "engineering - 0.15" profiles, and change build plate adhesion type to skirt
5. try to slice at 0, 0, and see if successful
6. move model around outside of 0, 0 - such as back right corner (example: 114.5859, -74.8447) - keep moving it around - sometimes it slices, others it does not.
7. Repeat for the 3 versions of cura - 5.9 consistently slices in any position, whereas 5.10 and 5.11 do not

Model 2

1. download https://www.printables.com/model/1116519-sienci-labs-dust-shoe-for-80mm-spindle-altmill OBJ files
2. load to cura (5.9, 5.10, and 5.11)
3. set singular extruder (AA 0.4mm) to "engineering - 0.15" profiles, and change build plate adhesion type to skirt
4. try to slice at 0, 0, and see if successful
5. move model around outside of 0, 0 - such as back right corner (example: 114.5859, -74.8447) - keep moving it around - sometimes it slices, others it does not.
6. Repeat for the 3 versions of cura - 5.9 consistently slices in any position, whereas 5.10 and 5.11 do not
7. retry with support, tree, touching build plate, and all others stock, continue moving around
8. duplicate models and try above steps to see if more than one model will slice

Actual results

5.9: consistently works with any changes you throw at it
5.10 consistently fails, and slices successfully on occasion
5.11 consistently fails, and slices successfully on occasion

I'm able to slice these successfully on my local installation using Cura 5.11. Neither gives any hint of an issue when following any of your directions. One or more project files in a state that can reliably duplicate the issue may go a long way towards any diagnostics in this case.

However, it is perhaps worth mentioning that I'm not using a Raptor Lake CPU. These CPUs are known to fail at a rate somewhere between 50% and 100% (depending on who you ask) as a result of poor factory voltage management, which wasn't helped by some motherboard manufacturers effectively removing power limits. Four separate microcode updates have been released by Intel to address this issue, but these updates cannot undo damage that has already been done - they can only limit or prevent future damage. As such it may be simple coincidence that 5.9 works properly on your system.

I would strongly encourage you to test your CPU for stability - after updating to the latest available BIOS from your motherboard manufacturer, so as to not make things worse. There are multiple guides available from various tech sites and videographers, but do keep in mind that at best they can only indicate a likelihood of failure rather than certainty.
