Pasting into macro action entry fields is broken

Agent release v8.0.0 (Windows)

•In Agent's Macros tab, when trying to paste into the "Add macro action -> Macro commands" entry field, both Ctrl+V and the right-click context menu work as expected.
•Pasting into the "Add macro action -> Type text" entry field works fine using Ctrl+V, but when trying to paste via the right-click context menu, no menu appears.

I can't paste anything into the "Macro commands" entry field at all. Doesn't work using the right-click context menu, or Ctrl+V.🤷‍♂️

I also noticed that the first attempt to bring up the right-click menu causes it to briefly appear, and then disappear. The second attempt usually brings up the menu as expected.

FYI: We introduced the bug with #2691 PR. It is a necessary upgrade because the electron 33 reached its end of life at 2025-07-24. So I don't wanna rollback it.

The #2695 PR solves right click context menu issue on all OS for classic input fields. This PR also solves the Paste command on Linux and Windows. On MacOs the Paste works only via Application menu / Top menu => Edit => Paste submenu.

The macro command editor is a monaco-editor component that implements it own context menu.

I am still working on it to find the all OS solution.

progress update:

• usage of the https://github.com/sindresorhus/electron-context-menu does not solve the issue
• with the current angular monaco editor component we can't upgrade the monaco-editor. The web build is works properly, but the electron renderer build provide similar issue [Bug] globalDefine is not a function microsoft/monaco-editor#4694 . Tried to many webpack fine tuning but did not helped. Maybe it is the time to switch electron esm build.

We are waiting for electron next major release maybe it will fix the issue

I just noticed this seems to be working in Win 11 as well, using Agent v8.0.1 🙂.
