Missing resistors in the USB differential pair (D+/D-)

Hi, and thanks for sharing your work.

I would appreciate an answer to the following question:

According to Espressif's hardware design guidelines,
"it is recommended to populate 22/33 Ω series resistors between the pins (GPIO 19 and 20) and the USB connector".

However, none of your designs include these resistors in the differential pair.

Could you explain the reason not to include them in the design?
Does it make any difference at all?
