Finamp remembering play count in offline mode could result in tracks being able to be sorted by play count in offline mode. Would this be possible and how difficult would it be to implement?

Thats absolutely possible and I already had it implemented.

The problem is, that if you listen to tracks while offline, these plays currently can't get reported to the server. And also, if you listen on a different device abd the "official" play count increases, this does not get reflected in offline mode. And it would be a total overkill to re-sync the playcounts of hundreds of downloaded tracks each time you switch to online-mode.

The similar thing applies to the "Recently Played".

Thats why we decided to disable it in offline mode, so that we're not showing any outdated data at any point.

Maybe we could make this an optional setting to explicitly enable these sorting options, by recognizing these limitations? We already have the data available after all.
