Feature request: In-app contributors page

I’d like to suggest adding a contributors page or section within the software that lists all past and present contributors (possibly using GitHub’s contributor data).

Rationale:

• Helps increase awareness of the people behind the project
• Encourages community participation and recognition
• Emphasizes the collaborative open-source spirit

It could be as easy as adding a contributors section (or a button that opens another page) to the “Info” page, displaying GitHub usernames and, if desired, links to their profiles.
This could also be expanded for the translators as well.

I understand this could add some clutter, so it would probably work best as a separate page.

Would the maintainers be open to this idea?

Hmm, in general a policy for Finamp is to only ever make a request to the Jellyfin server (or maybe related services within the local network). Fetching data from GitHub does against this, although it's probably fine.
What I could see is adding a clear link to the contributors page, or having first-time contributors manually add their name in the source code.
We could also use a code generation to generate a list of contributors based on the git commit history.

However, this is currently a low-priority for me. I'd gladly accept PRs that add this, but won't implement it myself for the time being :)
