Graph are not saved (Mac OS X)

I cannot save graph, nothing happens when I try...
The graph title box remains "(Unsaved)".
No error is displayed nor in console or in terminal.
I'm running Unitex with a MacBook Pro with Mac OS 14 (Sonoma).
Same things happens for my students with similar configuration.

To help me to understand this better, could you please provide the last line displayed in the console output? You can find this by navigating to Info > Console immediately after clicking on 'Save'. Hi Christian! I investigated a little bit more the problem and it looks like the software can't create a file (either a new graph or with "save as"). Currently I can still work with Unitex by duplicating an existing graph file and modifying it as a workaround. Unfortunately the console doesn't provide any output in console, either when (successfully) saving existing graphs nor when creating (fails) a new graph. Hope this helps a little bit! It sounds like the issue you're encountering with Unitex/GramLab IDE is related to file permissions or the workspace directory. Here's how you can address this:

1. Change the Workspace Directory:

   • Open Unitex/GramLab.
   • Go to the Info > Preferences menu.
   • Look on Directories for the option to change the 'Private Unitex directory'.
   • Choose a directory where you know you have write permissions (like a folder in your home directory).

2. Add Write Permissions to the Directory:
   If changing the workspace doesn't help, or you prefer to keep using the current directory, you'll need to modify the permissions of the folder where the graphs are saved. Here's how you can do this on macOS:

   • Open the Terminal app.
   • Use the cd command to navigate to the parent directory of your Private Unitex directory. For example, if your workspace is located in /Users/yourusername/workspace/Unitex-GramLab/Unitex, you would type cd /Users/yourusername/workspace/Unitex-GramLab/Unitex.
   • To change the permissions, use the chmod command. If you want to give full permissions to the user and group, type: chmod -R 755 Unitex. Replacing Unitex with the actual name of your folder.
