direct speech ccomp or parataxis?

Where as in other English Treebanks the part after said as in "I like it here", said Tom is attached as ccomp (ccomp(said, like)) in the English-PUD treebank said is attached as parataxis. parataxis(like, said) (cf. sentence n01005024 and many others).
Why is that so? Is this an error ?

It is an error. The likely reason is that originally the guidelines required parataxis but it was changed in February 2022.

Anyone to fix it? (I can have a look to see whether these changes do not imply other changes)

The original maintainers of this treebank aren't here any more, so occasionally I come through and help clear up issues I've seen or others have reported, but that is not a viable long term strategy. Anyway it seems likely that most of the parataxis currently in this treebank can be turned into ccomp. I'll put together a PR at some point, unless someone else can take it on
