Enrollment System - Features Implementation

✅ Fitur yang Telah Diimplementasikan

1. Enrollment Routes

  • ✅ Route untuk semua user yang sudah login (tidak perlu permission khusus)
  • ✅ Index enrollments
  • ✅ Show enrollment detail
  • ✅ Store (enroll)
  • ✅ Update progress
  • ✅ Complete course
  • ✅ Destroy (unenroll)

2. Course Show Page - Student View

  • ✅ Not Enrolled State:

    • Menampilkan tombol "Enroll Now"
    • Menampilkan harga course (FREE badge jika gratis)
    • Menampilkan info: Duration, Level, Modules
    • Validasi course harus published

  • ✅ Enrolled State:

    • Menampilkan status "Enrolled!"
    • Progress bar dengan persentase
    • Tanggal enrollment
    • Tombol "Continue Learning"
    • Tombol "Unenroll" dengan konfirmasi

3. EnrollmentController

  • ✅ Validasi duplicate enrollment
  • ✅ Auto-create enrollment dengan:
    • enrolled_at timestamp
    • progress_percentage = 0
  • ✅ Check authorization (user hanya bisa manage enrollment sendiri)
  • ✅ Update progress functionality
  • ✅ Complete course functionality
  • ✅ Unenroll functionality

4. CourseController Enhancement

  • ✅ Load enrollment data di show method
  • ✅ Check jika user sudah enrolled
  • ✅ Pass data ke view: $isEnrolled, $enrollment

5. User Experience

  • ✅ Success/Error messages dengan alerts
  • ✅ Role-based view (Student vs Admin/Instructor)
  • ✅ Visual feedback (progress bar, status icons)
  • ✅ Confirmation dialogs untuk unenroll

🎯 Cara Penggunaan

Untuk Student:

  1. Enroll ke Course:

    • Buka halaman course detail
    • Klik tombol "Enroll Now"
    • Otomatis ter-enroll dan redirect ke halaman course

  2. Lihat Progress:

    • Di halaman course yang sudah di-enroll
    • Progress bar menampilkan persentase completion
    • Tanggal enrollment ditampilkan

  3. Unenroll:

    • Klik tombol "Unenroll" di course detail
    • Konfirmasi dialog akan muncul
    • Setelah unenroll, status kembali ke "Not Enrolled"

Untuk Admin/Instructor:

  • Tetap melihat Quick Actions seperti biasa
  • Bisa manage course tanpa tampilan enrollment

📋 TODO (Optional Enhancements)

  1. Payment Integration - Jika course berbayar
  2. Enrollment History - Riwayat enrollment
  3. Bulk Enrollment - Admin bisa enroll banyak user
  4. Enrollment Notifications - Email notification saat enroll
  5. Progress Analytics - Dashboard analytics untuk enrollment progress
  6. Certificate Generation - Generate certificate saat course completed

🔒 Security Features

  • ✅ User hanya bisa enroll/unenroll diri sendiri
  • ✅ Validation duplicate enrollment
  • ✅ Check course published status sebelum enroll
  • ✅ Authorization check di semua enrollment operations
  • ✅ CSRF protection di semua forms

📊 Database Structure

Enrollment table:

  • user_id (FK)
  • course_id (FK)
  • enrolled_at (timestamp)
  • completed_at (nullable timestamp)
  • progress_percentage (integer 0-100)
  • Unique constraint: [user_id, course_id]

🎨 UI/UX Features

  • ✅ Gradient border pada enrollment card
  • ✅ Icon indicators (check circle for enrolled, book for not enrolled)
  • ✅ Progress bar dengan gradient
  • ✅ Responsive design
  • ✅ Loading states (bisa ditambahkan)
  • ✅ Success/Error alerts
