Some games may not have rooms that are adjacent to each other, at least no visually. Think of Super Metroid's Zebes map, at least in-game it's multiple maps separate by elevators and visually they may be separated by some non-cell/room tiles. However, rooms in between zones / maps are considered adjacent.
Also Aeterna Noctis has a whole biome where the rooms are intentionally not connected to each other to add to the "illusion"/"confusion"/"mystery"
This is a niche feature so proceed if this gets more traction.
Ideally we'd have Room's Connected Room have an option to add a room, targeting doors that aren't claimed. This may mean we need better tracking of doors and which rooms they connect and allow them to not be connected to anything (this is allowed, it just will show it's NOT connected to any rooms for a single cell with a single door).
