• PyPI (for Python)
• NuGet (for C#)
• Maven Central (for Java)
• ? (for C++)
• CRAN (for R)
• Docker hub (for Docker images)

Note

Not all projects need to be released this way. This is fine.

There's many actions for this sort of thing. You'll need to supply credentials when pushing outside the Github infrastructure, and that means using secrets.
