user_data script url and inline

I am trying to download a script from an url for user_data but it does not seem to work at all. And there is no mention or example how this is supposed to work.

Also if you do inline-script how can you make this readable, how to use it for multi line?

I see great possibilities for improvements here in the docs.

Here is one example on how to add user-data script from a file. We could definitely add examples to the documentation as well.
