[Bug or Feature] Source code managers are unavailable in untrusted workspaces #2696

The new version does not allow using the source code manager (git) in untrusted workspaces. However, in previous versions, the source code manager could still be used even in untrusted workspaces.
Furthermore, even though I selected “Do not show all untrusted pop-ups” in settings, the pop-up still appeared when I opened the untrusted folder—and it was the same double pop-up described in this issue.
I cannot determine whether this is a new feature or a bug.
