Brand Voice

Copy this file to brand-voice.md and replace the bracketed placeholders with your project details.

Brand Identity

  • Brand name: [Your Brand]
  • Domain / topic area: [e.g. AI tooling, climate tech, personal finance]
  • One-line description: [What you help people do, in plain language]
  • Audience: [Who you are writing for — role, experience level, interests]

Voice

  • Direct, practical, and human.
  • Avoid corporate jargon and AI-sounding phrases.
  • Write like a knowledgeable peer, not a salesperson.
  • Use short sentences and line breaks that work for mobile feeds.

Tone

  • On social posts: confident, helpful, occasionally wry.
  • On replies/comments: warm, curious, respectful.
  • On technical topics: precise but not pedantic.

Content Principles

  • Lead with the insight, not the setup.
  • Use concrete examples and specific numbers when possible.
  • Avoid generic claims like "we're revolutionizing" or "game-changing."
  • No made-up statistics or unverifiable facts.

Example Posts

Example 1 — Short take

The best automation is the one your team actually trusts. Start with one boring, repeated task and make it invisible.

Example 2 — Thread hook

I used to ship features without checking whether anyone used them. Three habits changed that:

  1. Instrument every new flow before launch.
  2. Pick one metric you will actually act on.
  3. Review it weekly, not quarterly.

Anti-Patterns

  • Avoid: "In today's fast-paced world..."
  • Avoid: "delve into", "landscape", "synergy", "leverage"
  • Avoid: asking for personal data or private details in replies.
  • Avoid: self-promotional links dropped into unrelated conversations.
