Testing a single board for functionality.

I am very interested in building your clock design, but I want to take a cautious approach (don't want to end up with 24 clocks I cant use!).
If one were to build a single board as a master, would it be possible to test all the functionality (albeit limited to the last vertical strip of clocks)?

The master code makes no use of any i2c reads, so it is fully unaware of how many slaves are connected. If you choose one board, you should be able to freely test all columns by changing the address on the DIP switch and power cycling the board.

Thank you MattI have one board working well as you described thanks.I did find that both hands have to be down at 6 o’clock before power up. This is not my design, I am just building something based on this. I may fork this in the future and make some additions, such as a home position button so you dont need to re initialize all the hands when powering it up. I will share the step files for my clockface design on github when I am done designing it.

Good progress, have everything working, finished case with back light now assembling boards into case.
One thing I cant figure is - I can edit the html code (I want to add some additional controls) but I dont know how this gets compiled into the master file.

Great to hear. Could you maybe share your design? I have a 3d printer so I can print them (assuming you're made them as I with a printer).

For the the only important stuff is the distance of the holes.

For the html file you need to adapt the api endpoints. I didn't checked the code yet - but for me it shouldn't be that hard.

EDIT: If you checked the web folder. You need to edit their the webpage. Then you need to run the minimize script. This will generate the .h this will be then included in the final build.

EDIT2: Could you maybe share your new HTML Files if you're happy with it?

Attached drawing showing the case outline and hole positions and some other construction pictures. You can scale of the drawing for the dimensions.

I tried and failed to run the minimize.js script.
Will try again shortly.

My design is complete now, will upload documentation and files to my github soon, probably next week. I am using an MDF 19mm base with 3D printed self-centering spacers and press-fit hands.

@tomfavell .. Maybe I am wrong or my program doesn't like your file. It doesn't contain the full holes. Could you maybe share the final design and used material because it looks so Cool with the backlight!
