🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js v18+
  • MongoDB Atlas account (or local MongoDB)
  • Google Gemini API key
  • Azure Cognitive Services account (for Speech-to-Text)
  • Firebase project
  • RapidAPI account with Judge0 subscribed

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/VedantPawar05/Mockmate.git
cd Mockmate

2. Setup Server

cd server
npm install

Create a .env file in /server (see Environment Variables):

cp .env.example .env   # then fill in your values
npm run dev            # Starts on http://localhost:8000

3. Setup Client

cd client
npm install

Create a .env file in /client:

cp .env.example .env   # then fill in your values
npm run dev            # Starts on http://localhost:5173
