Pick Block functionality is broken

Bug Description

When attempting to pick block with middle-click, the functionality of it is broken and instead does nothing.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make a clean 1.21.1 fabric server,
2. Connect to server with 1.21.5 client,
3. Attempt to pick block with middle-click,
4. Nothing happens.

Expected Behavior

Pressing pick block with middle-click brings selected block to hotbar slot.

Additional Server Info

1. This server does not use any proxies,
2. Fabric 1.21.1 with Fabric API 0.115.4 and ViaFabric 0.4.15+84-main with ViaVersion 5.3.2-SNAPSHOT,
3. This did not use client-side mode,
4. This issue cannot be reproduced on paper-based servers.

Not sure if this is out of scope for ViaFabric as it would require deeper modifications to the game code which we usually only have in ViaFabricPlus.
