3.10.3 crashes with an autolayout/threading error

Describe the bug
Version 3.10.3 :d377d7c9: (8872) on macos 12.7.6 (21H1320) crashes after some minutes (<10 usually) with the following error [will provide details directly if needed]:

2026-04-03 19:25:06.373 Vienna[11384:569170] This application is modifying the autolayout engine from a background thread after the engine was accessed from the main thread. This can lead to engine corruption and weird crashes.

2026-04-03 19:25:06.376 Vienna[11384:569170] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'Modifications to the layout engine must not be performed from a background thread after it has been accessed from the main thread.'

Start Vienna and wait.

Can you describe what you are doing before this happens or have you observed what Vienna is doing before this happens?

Do you have automatic refresh enabled and if so which refresh interval have you chosen?

I believe it's refreshing subscriptions. It'll crash whether I'm reading or not.

Vienna's currently set to refresh on startup and every hour.

Running from terminal shows multiple calls to: writeDBwithCachedResponse (together with complaints about Invalid protocol-property list - CFURLRequestRef. protoProps={ } which are presumably 'normal' errors, since the sites they refer to seem to refresh)

I've just tried turning off refresh entirely, and no crash yet (almost an hour later - it'll normally crash within 10-15 minutes. Manual refresh of a single subscription behaves properly (and doesn't result in a crash). Manual refresh of my largest folder (well over 50 subscriptions) also completed, and hasn't resulted in a crash.

Has the crash happened since? I haven't been able to reproduce this. Given that it happens after some time, I suspect that it might have something to do with the automatic refresh.
