Thanks for filing this issue. While the root cause of these errors is not quite obvious, I believe these are non-critical errors that do not impede the functionality of the plugin (do they?).

Hey folks,

I also had problems running the extension in a Mac, which seems to be the same as @Explorer1092 . Actually, the errors I had did render the extension useless, as not even the passive checks function. What worked for me was install the futures package:
pip install futures
And that installs the futures module which is the backport version that boto3 uses.

Thank you for the comment. When this error occurred, did it happen with the version installed from the BApp store or with a locally installed version? Also, which version of Burp Suite are you using? I briefly experienced a breaking error recently, but it seems to have gone away after upgrading to Burp Suite v2.0.12.

In any case, I'm currently in the process of refactoring this extension and adding some new features as well. If errors like these happen again, please keep a copy of the stack trace as it can be helpful for debugging.

Also, there is a passive mode option in the settings tab that you can enable whenever there is a breaking error which should at least identify buckets and other passive issues based on regular expressions. There's also a command-line version of this plugin that you can use to run the same checks outside of Burp Suite.

Hey @0xSobky ,

first let me tell you how much I face-palmed. Half of the reason I wanted this extension was to integrated in a recon framework I'm doing, and so I needed to configure it inside Burp to call if through Jython. So having the CLI version is a life saver.

Secondly - this happened using the latest version from this repo, installed locally. Burp version is v1.7.37. For reference - Mac OSX 10.13.4.

Let me know if you need testing with Burp 1.x, as unfortunately I should keep using this version for a while. Cheers!
