Tagline (under 60): Speech-to-text on the machines you already own
Tagline (260): Voca is a family of speech-to-text apps. Hold a hotkey, speak, and text is meant to land at your cursor. No Voca account. On-device after you download a model. Optional self-hosted gateway if you want a host of your own.
Voca is the family. Linux is available now (v0.16.1). Mac is beta v0.9.0 on macOS 14+ Apple Silicon. Windows is beta: unsigned NSIS and MSI on GitHub Releases, SmartScreen expected. Phone is an Android 13+ public beta; iOS 17+ is a public TestFlight (1,000 seats) or a source build. Gateway is beta optional compute on a machine you run. It is never on-device.
We do not have a Voca cloud or a Voca account. A first model download uses the network. After that, audio stays on that device unless you point a client at VocaGateway on purpose.

Linux is the one you can install today. Mac is beta. Win is an unsigned beta. Phone is Android beta and iOS TestFlight. Gateway is a host, not a client.
