Linux press list (Vocalinux)

Use: tip emails only. Not paid advertorials. Do not send from this file. Method: official About / Contact / Tips pages. Directory emails that are not on-site are UNVERIFIED. Researched: 24 Aug 2026 (PT).

Product: Vocalinux. Available now. Current release v0.16.0 (GitHub published 2026-08-23). AGPL-3.0. vocalinux.com. github.com/VocaHQ/vocalinux.

How to use this list

Personalized tip, not a press-release blast. One platform per email. Lead with on-device / no cloud / AGPL / system-wide dictation. Include a demo URL, GitHub, and one screenshot. Skip UNVERIFIED, DEAD, listing-only, and LATER rows. Do not invent contacts.

Already pitched (May-July 2026)

Jatin overrode the first-touch rule on 24 Aug 2026. Re-pitch with Vocalinux v0.16.0, not the old 0.14.1-beta / "100% offline voice typing" note. Linuxiac, It's FOSS, and Phoronix already covered 0.14. Follow-ups should say so. It's FOSS hit launch bugs on Fedora and Ubuntu in that beta; lead with what is fixed in 0.16.0. Leave the Teledyne vendor thread and the smallhagrid user query off this list.
