First Release Candidate Released!

Today, 2022-12-24, I released the first release candidate of version 2.0.0! 🎂 🥳

Read the README @ npmjs.org or (for now) in the Version_2 branch to get the latest information. The main branch still has the old v1 stuff, and will remain like this during this release. Most likely I will promote the Version 2 code into the main branch during the next release.
