LibreSpeed slowness through reverse proxy

There appears to be some slowness in LibreSpeed responsiveness. I'm not sure the exact cause, but I've found that disabling HTTP/2 helps some. When we enabled HTTPS, we also enabled HTTP/2.

1.1.7 and 05fe3f7 address disabling HTTP/2, but there could be room for improvement.

Here is an example of using HTTP without the reverse proxy:

All these tests were over the eth0 connection at 1 Gbps or higher e2e. As you can see, there is some room for improvement with the reverse proxy.

Need to investigate if HAProxy or Envoy would make a difference here.
