Just a simple note: the deployer utility does tell you contradictory information later down the line for this.
If you like to live on the edge, you'll want Dev Channel, if you prefer a more stable experience, choose Public Release. The other two options are midway of the two, if you're part of the Windows Insider Program, you already know how those work.
I haven't tried the builds myself, but all logic points to "this shouldn't work anymore" - 24H2 (I believe during Germanium) started requiring v8.1 extensions sometime during development, similar to the SSE4.2 requirement on AMD64 processors - which I found out the hard way early on, and absolutely does exist. The guide simply tells you to shoot yourself in the foot, and find out in WOA Deployer later.
Would it be on the plate to revise that small section? (images are fine but hint to being about 4 - 5 years old)
Attached: section I think could use a simple warning or revision. The Dev branch is already on build 26200, as of July 2025.
