Requests for change emerging from discussed with TIM2023 participants and PicoQUANT representatives

• Change name of LaserScanningConfocalSystem --> LaserScanningConfocalUnit [REQUEST FOR MODEL CHANGE]
• Change name of SpinningDiskScanHead --> SpinningDiskConfocalUnit [REQUEST FOR MODEL CHANGE]
• Create separate unit for SpinningDiskScanner, including PinholeDiskArray(s) and MicrolensDiskArray
• Change name from XY-Mirror Scanner --> RasterScanner [REQUEST FOR MODEL CHANGE]
• Pinhole icon --> change from IRIS like to more a SQUARE BLADE OPENING (could also be 6 ways and 8 ways)

• PMT can be both side on and head on exposure mechanism
• Consider separating DETECTION UNIT as a sub-part of the Laser Scanning Confocal Unit
• Add Spectral Detector to PointDetector group [REQUEST FOR MODEL CHANGE]
• Consider adding the concept of Main Dichroic Beam Splitter as a separate Dichroic Type [REQUEST FOR MODEL CHANGE]
